Every Friday when I recite Surah Al-Kahf,
I walk away with a completely new reflection.
Today it was Ayah 10 and 11.
Ayah 10:
When the young men took refuge in the Cave and said,
“Our Lord, grant us mercy from Yourself and guide us in our affair.”
Ayah 11:
So We sealed their hearing in the Cave for a number of years.
They asked for mercy and guidance.
Allah responded
by putting them to sleep for years.
Think about that.
Sleeping for years is not “normal.”
It’s not logical.
It’s not something humans can plan.
But with Allah’s permission, it happened.
Here is what I learned today:
Allah answers your dua. 100%.
There is no doubt in that.
But how it will be answered?
That part belongs to Him.
You don’t need to understand the method.
You don’t need to calculate the process.
You don’t need to be “special” to be heard.
You just need to ask.
The rest of the story shows how that sleep protected them and preserved their faith.
Sometimes what looks like delay
is actually protection.
Don’t stop making dua.
Ask Allah for everything you need.
