A few hours ago, I prayed Asr prayer at the mosque.
It was jamaat,
and after the prayer everyone waited for a few minutes.
They were reciting Ayat al-Kursi (Al-Baqarah 2:255).
I was looking at those unknown people
and thinking about the reason they were reciting that ayah.
The Prophet ﷺ said that the person who recites Ayat al-Kursi after every obligatory prayer
will have nothing standing between them and entering Jannah except death
meaning, when they die, they are promised entry into Paradise (by Allah’s permission).
Who doesn’t want Jannah?
I want to die rich.
I know I cannot take anything with me when I die.
If you know this ayah and recite it after prayer,
it can secure Jannah.
